On Wednesday (September 3), Radiohead confirmed online rumors by announcing the details of their first live shows since 2018. The Grammy-winning British band have planned a highly-anticipated 20-date European and U.K. tour this fall, with multiple-night stands scheduled at five cities: Madrid (Nov. 4-5, 7-8), Bologna (Nov. 14-15, 17-18), London (Nov. 21-22, 24-25), Copenhagen (Dec. 1-2, 4-5), and Berlin (Dec. 8-9, 11-12). Tickets will be available exclusively to fans registered on radiohead.com, with sales starting September 12. “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it,” drummer Phil Selway shared. “After a seven year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us. It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates.” While these are Radiohead’s only live shows currently scheduled, Selway left open the possibility of the band announcing more dates in the future by adding, “For now, it will just be these ones but who knows where this will all lead.” (Rolling Stone)
