There's not much for Cleveland Cavaliers fans to smile about these days, but they're laughing nonetheless, thanks to Quicken Loans Arena's new Manti T'eo Kiss Cam.
While the usual stadium Kiss Cams find cute couples and use the peer pressure of thousands of fans to get the pair to kiss, the Manti T'eo cam -- complete with a heart-shaped cut-out on the screen and T'eo's face -- searches out guys sitting alone so they can be compelled to smooch a pretend girlfriend in honor of the allegedly catfish scammed Notre Dame linebacker.
Last week, the Kentucky independent baseball team The Florence Freedom announced it would give "Lennay Kekua" bobbleheads to the first 1,000 fans to show for their May 23 home opener. Because Kekua wasn't really T'eo's girlfriend -- or even a real person -- the boxes will reportedly be empty.
Meantime, a spoof of Notre Dame's "Play Like a Champion Today" t-shirts poking fun at the T'eo scandal have gone online. The shirts read: "Play Like Your Fake Girlfriend Died Today."
